This Is The Beginning

I'm starting this site to showcase the work of Brain Pan Color. I'll be posting past work as will as demo pieces to get critiqued.

The work on the left was drawn by Scottie Young, a fellow Chicago artist. The character Pyra was commissioned by Strictly Joe of Strictly Underground and Punx of Rage.

This took far too long to be finished in house. Computer problems, which are the norm for Brain Pan it seems, were one of many problems with getting this finished.
Strictly Joe was super patient (truth be told I think he forgot). But it got done and was at the Wizard world Chicago convention.


This was also from Strictly Joe. The artist is Darrel Spicey. Another Chicago guy. He has a painters style for a lot of his comic work, since he's primarily a painter.
This piece called That Strictly Kid, was a lot of fun to do also.
Card blanche was given as far as color and atmosphere. Progress reports would be sent to Strictly Joe. He gave pointers and encouragement.
He was pleased with the final result.
A third assignment was given but has been loss between the two groups due to computer crashes.
