Kreme de la Kreme

This is a logo design I did for a co-worker. She is part of a neighborhood NPO and she asked me to make them a logo for the group.
This is probably the third version of the design, minus a few revisional steps here and there.
I'm waiting on it to be voted on and approved. Since I did it on spec, I figured I could post it.

Earthly Remnant of an Unspeakable Horror

I did this some time last year, mostly at work during my break. It's a quick fast in a hurry style. I wanted to just jump in and rock out something that I had created. So I chose this lovely little nightmare creation.
Its a remnant of a horrible thing that was breaking through the veil between dimensions, to conquer our world with the requisite cult of followers helping it along.
I know thats not a new story but its one I want to tell using my creations and perspective. So there should be more to come, not only for that story but the other weirdness thats kicking around in my brain.

This particular monster is one of two variants of a sort of
Lovecraftian nightmare creature from another dimension.
The other variant is a sketch. It will be posted soon.

Red Riding Hood

This another picture drawn by CallMePo http://callmepo.deviantart.com. I did this before the Dr.Mrs. The Monarch. It was more an exercise in color and border design. I have several mock ups with a variety of borders done in Illustrator.
I wanted to do more texture work on her gloves and stocking.

I loved this character. A sexy women with a weirdly masculine voice fits perfectly in the odd world of the Venture Bros. Also that she is usually the voice of reason during whatever insanity the Monarch cooks up 
This was drawn by CallMePo(link) from DeviantArt. I was experimenting with a color line technique.
This is the one I'm happiest with.
CallMePo recently did another open invite to color his work. Hopefully I'll have time to finish it.

It has taken me longer than I thought to get here. I started this blog 2 years ago, hoping I could post at least 2 or 3 times a month.
Hell I was lucky to get 2or 3 a year.  But I haven't left. I've just been delayed. I'm cataloging and scanning new art, so I will be posting here soon.
This site, the sketch  blog and my page on Deviant Art are my main conduits right now.

The Lady from Saturn

I have been absent for almost a year from this blog. A lot of things
have distracted me from doing my art. Too much of it was my own
doing. But lets try to move forward.
This started as a doodle at my day job.
One of my co-workers made a good comment about it as
a sketch ( Hey Carmen). So I've been working on it off and on for the
last few weeks.
On the left is a slightly altered version of the original picture.
The major difference is the right leg is moved back, otherwise its
pretty much the same.
I'll post this to my Deviant Art page once I'm done with it.
Whenever that may happen.
